~The Writing Desk~

~The Writing Desk ~

As all of you have Probably Guessed already, I Love Jane Austen! She and all of Her Works are Some of my Greatest Muses. Pride and Prejudice was the Inspiration here. I find that Time Period Fascinating. The Customs and The Culture.
“Affection is desirable. Money is absolutely indispensable!” – Mrs. Austen's Quote from Becoming Jane. That was a Young Woman's Plight during that time.
And the Plight of Parents ............
Elizabeth Bennet: [On Marriage] "Is that really all you think about? "
Mrs. Bennet: "When you have five daughters, Lizzie, tell me what else will occupy your thoughts, and then perhaps you can understand."  I Love this Line!
Well It is another Wonderful Brag Monday!
And our Hostess, our Good Friend Karen of the Graphics Fairy! If you haven't seen the new Sheet Music Image  You should have a Look! It is really Lovely!
Happy Monday Everyone!

Good morning, Jill! So glad I found your beautiful blog today (through Charlene, "My Heart's Ease"). I LOVE Jane Austen! Always have. I've trained my daughters since they were little to love her as well...

What a beautiful collage you've created with her as your muse...sheer perfection!

I'll be following along...love what I see here!

Wishing you a most wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!

I love how, when I first start reading one of her books (for the tenth time) I have a hard time with the language but after a chapter or two I start thinking in that very same "language"! Lov your piece!

This is my first visit to your gorgeous blog! You have a very beautiful style.
I too love Jane Austen, in fact, I have recently done two posts about visiting her house in Chawton England. I took a picture of her writing desk, and showed it on my blog a few posts back from today's.
Again, I love your blog and will be your newest follower.
Hugs,
Terri
