~Moonbeams and Magic~

I have seen so Many Altered Altoids Tins
and have Always thought how much Fun they Were!
Like little Shadow Boxes!
So when My Friend Wendy of Bliss Angel
was Hostessing an
Altered Altoids Tin Swap
on her Blog,
I thought I can't Pass up a Chance
to Have some Fun!
So here is My first attempt
at an Altered  Tin!
I started off Painting My Tin.
I read about a method
that will actually
Rust Your Tin!
I Decided that maybe it would be something to try
when I had Multiple tins to Finish.
(It involved Bleach and Vinegar...Ventilation...Etc)
I started Playing around with the Backdrop
and Discovered I could Create a 3-D
using Multiple Layers of Paper.
Moonbeams in a Bottle...Some Buttons...
a little Bit of Steam Punk Gadgets and Gears..
Some Moths and an Adorable Fairy!
Oh Boy did I have Fun Playing with this!
My Swap Partner
is Lorraine
I Hope she likes it!!
 Thank You Miss Wendy
for hosting this Wonderful Fun!
Have a Wonderful Day!

Wow! Your first attempt turned out PERFECT! Just love what you've done here. I have rusted little square instant coffee tins over the years but I just put them outside and let them live in the elements for about 3 weeks or so. I will have to try your way next time.
Have a great day.

Hahahahaha!!! And really out loud.

A *beautiful* altered tin, Jill! And this music on your blog is making me feel like I want to get up and dance around my studio and write some poetry. Maybe even alter an altoid tin. :D

I am the very lucky recipient of this tin, and it is absolutely gorgeous!!! I am keeping it under lock and key, Wendy ;) I love the theme of magic and moonbeams, and how creative to mount it on a platform for display! I love everything about it, thanks so much, Jill! Hugs, Lorraine
