My Dad

~*A Wee Sweet Boy*~

A week ago today 
my Dad passed away 
quite suddenly.
We are all still trying to 
catch our breath from it all.
~*Mom & Dad Wedding Day*~

 His health had been declining in the last year 
but I guess you are never prepared
for something like this. 
It was quick and he had my
Dear Mother and Sister by his side.
~*Mom & Dad 50th Wedding Anniversary*~
His Love of Family and Friends
and his Most Amazing Sense of Humor
will remain with us all in our Hearts & Memories
You will be Missed Terribly Dad.

    Jill, I am so sorry for your loss. I loss my father 7 years ago very suddenly and he was only 66. He lived quite far from us but we talked all the time. I sometimes forget that he is gone and go to pick up the phone. I am so glad you had a father who you loved so much and who was so well like and loved by others.

    Oh how sad to know your father has gone on...it is hard to stay behind with a lifetime of memories to treasure in ones heart...
    It is a road all of us must travel, but knowing they will be waiting when I arrive to greet me makes me smile with hope!

    My Dear Jill: I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your Father. I too lost my Dad on Dec. 9th... much sooner than we had anticipated. "we were just not ready for him to go"~ yet God never makes a mistake. Heart felt condolences. Tiffany

    I am so sorry to hear of your father's sudden passing. I lost my father in 1997, which would have been the year he and my mother would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, but he passed away four months prior to that date. Fathers are blessings and mine sure was a sweet influence on his five children. I miss my father still but knows he still sees and watches over us. I feel his presence many times. May your sweet memories of him comfort your heart and thoughts.

    I am so sorry for your loss.. my Father passed away when I was 20 yrs old and a day does not go by that I don't feel his presence with me the last 34 years. Take care and remember he will be with you always.

    my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, you had a special bond with your father that will always be there... remember the happy times and be comforted in them.. i too miss my father, and not a day goes by that i dont say i love you dad... and hes been gone ten years now. sending big hugs and gentle thoughts..

Your beautiful art she shared took me to your facebook page and a link to your blog on your page led me here. i'm so sorry for the loss of your father, i know some of how you feel. my dad passed away on october 1st after a long fight with cancer. i have held up well, but still miss him so much. being creative helps.
